AAA!! trinityvixen and I knew someone like this back on one of our old RPs. This chick was 16, and pretended to be both a 20something girl with all this tragedy, and a guy with equal amounts of emo drama. She literally had a grad student in her mid-20s in love with a fake identity who killed himself, and had another 20something caring enough about her "real" identity to fly to London to spend time with the girl, at which point she found out PART of the lies (that she was 16 and not 23), but the rest of it didn't come out til MUCH later.

I KNEW this was the case, just because for whatever reason I can almost always tell with uncanny certainty when someone's full of BS online. I knew, and I didn't know how I knew, but I TOLD these people, and got banned from their RP for the accusation. Then, a year later, they emailed me and were like OH MY GOD HOW DID YOU KNOW? One girl was in therapy for a looong time, and another lost a ton of money that she'd spent on this chick, who was a minor, and in another country, so couldn't be prosecuted for anything.
