For years now, whenever the conversation would turn to "Television Shows From Our Childhood", I would bring up, along with Spartacus and Mysterious Cities of Gold, a show I only half-remembered, but was very fond of. I couldn't give it's name, but I could recall there were psychic twins fighting evil slugs who lived underwater, girls who were incorrectly frightened of witches, and EVIL ROCKS. Since I couldn't remember any details beyond plot points -- not names, not structure ("vague britishness"), and certainly not how these disparate elements connected (were the good witches opposing the evil rocks? Was the girl who was scared of them one of the twins? Were the evil slugs connected with the evil rocks?), most of my friends (some friends!) chalked it up to my own misremembrance of various Doctor Who serials, or The Tomorrow People, or just my own childhood makebelieve.

Thanks to Wikipedia, I now know! I was a fan of The Third Eye! It was an anthology series all along, and apparently I was still to young to really have a handle on that concept. My memories seem mostly to come from Children of the Stones (evil rocks) and Under the Mountain (psychic twins), with a scene or two from The Witches and the Grinnygog (misunderstood witches).

Vindication! At last! Incidentally, I credit this show completely with my current state as a fan. If I can find sources, I will be a happy fellow.

Keep mocking your readers, Mr. Kurtz. It's a really excellent idea.

Note: PvP is probably my least favorite webcomic that I'm capable of tolerating. I read it in extremis. It's the only webcomic I read with any regularity for which I have never once been tempted to purchase anything, ever, at all.
