I am pro-Hillary, but am actually a very big fan of both of the current Dem candidates. In fact, while I am pro-Hillary, I am not pro-Hillary enough to tell anyone to vote for her over Obama -- I consider it purely a personal opinion, and encourage everyone to vote your personal feelings on the candidates.

I am actually very happy that I can honestly say I'm excited about both as possible candidates, and will enthusiastically support either in the general. I was very pro-Kerry (moreso, as against his competition than I am for either of these two against the other), but was not exactly enthusiastic about him. This is not the case now.

So color me happy, and don't take my "lukewarmness" about Hillary to be anything except in comparison to Obama -- against nearly anyone else, I would be on fire for either of them, but it's hard to get really emotionally invested in a race between "YAAAAAAAAAY!" and "YAAAAAAAAAAY!"

I honestly think I may just flip a coin tomorrow, because I like Hillary but I keep being swayed back by "... but Obama is really good, too, and has X better thing that I like and maybe a better chance in the general election." I suppose it's a good thing that I get to choose between good and good tomorrow instead of between meh and suck, like in the last general election.

I doubt I'll change your mind, but please at least consider what I'm about to post.

I agree that they're both good people and the country would do fine under either of them. When you look at what the two are proposing to do their positions are very, very similar.

Starting tomorrow we'll probably have a Democratic nominee (and almost definitely have McCain as their Republican opponent). We might as well get used to that person, whoever he or she might be, because they'll be better than McCain in any case.

I like your last sentence. It sums the primary up nicely.
