Things sponsored by Quiznos:

Lesbian Sex
Human Transmutation Experimentation
Summaries of Recaps of Flashbacks

Given the commercial they were running in their sponsor's spot (two women talking about their hot meat sandwiches), the first is kind of funny.

Given that Quiznos's entire marketing strategy is "we run hacked up chunks of meat through a horrifying machine", the second is just distressing.

The last is just an apt commentary on the structure of Razor; set in the season before last (the exact spot in chronology only ascertainable with a good timeline or concordance), it's composed mostly of flashbacks to events contemporaneous with the first season (with some flashbacks to 40-odd years ago), and contains callbacks to the original series (helloooo 1978-vintage Cylons, Cylon Ships, and Cylon Ship Crew Complements) and bat-about-the-head foreshadowing for the end of this series.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the Quiznos ads as much as I did. "Cain and Gina were lovers. Brought to you by Quiznos!" Woo, Quiznos! They'll see Subway's ambiguously human Jared and raise them two smoking hot lesbians. FATALITY.

It's too bad they weren't doing this from the start. "Cylons nuke human cities, brought to you by Quiznos!" I picture the Cylon ships with Quizno-logos on their undersides.

Sponsors for genocide, an interesting concept. See, maniacs that have corporate sponsors behind them never are kicked out of office. Look at our President.

Luckily, you can buy the uncut and extended version, with more action, effects, and secrets about the future of mankind exclusively on DVD December 4th. Also, Battlestar Galactica Season 1 on HD-DVD, December 4th.

I stopped paying attention during commercials, so I missed that. I was wondering why they were only re-running the movie once. They's milked lesser made-for-TV movies for more repeats.

I was wondering about that, too, since I missed it as well.

They don't seem interested in releasing Season 3 on DVD at all.

I think this was financed by both the DVD and broadcast wings of NBCU, this the weirdness. I saw this in a sneak preview in the theater, and was subjected to 30 minutes of commercials for Mass Effect and the frakking zune. I don't think the recaps were in that, though.

I might rent it then, but bittorrent sounds easier.
