Bush makes joke about pollution, pumps fist, walks out of room...

...during a G8 session. He's basically the jock from an 80's movie now? "Yeah, we messed up the gym pretty bad. Have fun cleaning it up, NERDS!" [Walk off guffawing and tossing a football back and forth]

Wow. I really hope he leaves office before he can start uttering lines like "I did it for the lulz."

I did it for the lulz
If so, he still managed to be full of lose; the only places full of lulz in the past 8 years have been mostly involved in skewering him.

Heh. Well at least we'll win the talent competition and bone his girlfriend in the end. (Pretend it's Jenna if that helps.)

It's hardly the first time he's made a joke about his shitty performance in office. Remember, "Nope, no WMDs under there"?

Honestly, if his presidency were fictional (i.e. without consequences), it'd be riotously funny. It's like having Butt-Head as president. Cheney even looks kinda like Beavis with that grin of his.

Maybe Bush himself finds it all so amusing because he lives in Fantasy Land and doesn't understand "consequences".

Or President Camacho...

We should be so lucky. At least President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho actually sought out a smart person and listened to his advice. Bush just fires them for disagreeing with him.

I DO NOT GET IT. HOW IS HE PRESIDENT? HOW?

I'm suddenly, mortifyingly glad he was restrained for the past seven years with the threat of a) re-election and b) legacy. Because now he doesn't have to worry about the former and the latter is shot to shit anyway, he's completely off the wall. What. The. Shit!?!

I suspect his handlers have just stopped trying.

Also, all of the right-leaning media spin is busy trying to make McCain look cool and Obama look muslim, so they don't have the time and energy to spin Bush's antics like they used to.

Did you see the one about Karl Rove not showing up to a Congressional subpeona?

Why should he be responsible for anything? No one else in this damned government is.

The thing that makes me sick is the knowledge that when he eventually dies, the news media will give him respectful eulogies that totally ignore what an evil fuckhead he was, just like they did for Nixon.

Equally impressive:

Mr Bush also faced criticism at the summit after Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian Prime Minister, was described in the White House press pack given to journalists as one of the "most controversial leaders in the history of a country known for government corruption and vice".

That whole affair was funny -- basically they used an internal hit-piece on Berlusconi (one of their closest allies in Europe) in the briefing book.
