This is completely unacceptable. Italy, if they go through with this, will be committing to a course of action that Europe turned away from sixty-three years ago.

I'm also sort of sad that I didn't hear about this until ATC this afternoon; NPR nearly failed me, and the blogosphere completely dropped the ball.
