A simple solution.

Question: What to do about Palin?
Answer: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Is this the sort of simple solution that requires Weapon Proficiency (Medium Humanoid)?

More like Summon NARAL's Ally VIII.

And Brian Schweitzer. And Susan Eisenhower.

I wonder if she's traceably related to Michael Palin.

I admit I'm pleased by this turn of events. Biden can squash her like a bug in a fair debate, I think.

Right, but that would look bad. Hillary can do it and nobody can scream that it's a man picking on a woman, AND it's a backstop against anyone saying they're really Hillary supporters who are offended by her not being picked.

I think McCain's engaged in an experiment: how bad of a candidate can he be and still get good coverage from the media? "So what if he's a ______, he has an (R) next to his name."

I'm not sure, I'm so used to the Democratic Party fucking up what should be sure things. I've been cautiously optimistic about this election cycle's instantiation of the Democrats, though, so who knows.

Considering how the last two elections went, I am nervous.
If this nobody, anti-feminist Palin becomes the first woman in the White House (a honor which I do believe only Hillary deserves) I will weep.

To be fair, as VP, she won't be in the White House unless McCain dies. Which, of course, seems an even-odds bet. We're fucked if we don't win in November either way :)

One thing I find a little reassuring about this whole situation is come November something historical WILL happen. We'll either have our first non-white president or our first non-male vice president.

Of course that's not saying much. And I'm not happy at all about this turn of events. Why didn't he go for the mormon? Why oh why oh why?

Because he's not stupid?

The impression I get is she's supposed to shore up his support with the fundamentalist wing.
