Torts class should be a Tort

It's not that I don't like the subject, or don't like the professor. I even like the readings, once I've deciphered what the readings are (his unclear and scattered assignments are my only beef with the substance of the class). What pisses me off, and ruins my ability to really enjoy the class the way I enjoy all my others (especially contracts) are the facts that:
A: Due to being schedule sections B (mine) and F (1Ls who started in May), the classroom is overcrowded.
B: Apparently, the AC in the room is overly powerful, and someone was bothered enough during the summer to ask that it be turned off.

What this leads to is a hot, stuffy, slightly odorous, and overall remarkably unpleasant room to spend 67 minutes in, while trying to take detailed notes, keep with the discussion, and stay ready for a professor-attack.

Bleh and double Bleh.

Thanks!

Oh, and a special THANKYOU to [livejournal.com profile] drcpunk for the join code. And, of course, to [livejournal.com profile] agrumer and [livejournal.com profile] mnemex for helping her help me. (Well, [livejournal.com profile] mnemex for helping her, and [livejournal.com profile] agrumer for determining via process of elimination that she was the one I should ask).

He said it, not me...

To quote my Contracts professor:

...but only a stupid judge would say that. So why do they bring the second action? Because most judges are stupid!
[Cue rant of how stupid judges are, interspersed with laughter from the class, ending with:]
You think it's funny now? Just wait until a borderline psychotic, dressed like a penguin, is screaming at you, red in the face.

So, not entirely unlike Law School, then.
